The third kind
Has anyone seen the dvd cover of close encounters of the third kind with the boy standing in front of the open door and the very bright light coming through the door but how do you create this effect with the door closed so you can see the light behind the door and the rays of light coming through the seams of the door how do you achieve this effect in photoshop does anyone know. Thanks |

Go down to the next page on this Image Doctor and look at the one titled "bright flare." I think it's just what you want. _________________ I aim to give pause. |

the effect i am trying to create is the light behind a closed door with rays of light coming through the seams. i tried the flare effect but it dosent create the effect i am looking for because i still want to see the door, but also see a bright light behind the door and beams of light coming through the seams |

Create the flare affect, and then put the door back in front of the flare so the door is in front. Allow the rays at the edges to continue to stream through. |
