Change the blending to Screen and the black on the layer will be invisible. By doing this, you can then move the flare layer around to achieve precise positioning. If the planet is on its own layer, you then have the choice whether you place the flare in front or behind and see which effect you prefer. Incidentally, how did you get on with colouring the poster text? Nick |

Thanks, Anna, for the brushes, and thanks Nick for the lens flare technique. I now know where I was going wrong. Also, Nick, the colour matching poster text works a treat. The type you've used has been used so much in the past the effect itself is almost untochable. The 105mm prime is a much better option. It's still a great work  |
