Introducing Plastic Wrap
Okay, I know it's usual for me to have really big difficulty with this book but this is just terrible, I'm pretty sure I did every single step on this page wrong, I mean, look at it!

Could someone give me some help please? Haha

Re: Introducing Plastic Wrap
OK - there are a few problems here.

First, the shape doesn't look as it it's lying on the table. The back spikes appear to be leaping up into the air! Much shallower curves needed, a far less exuberant outpouring altogether.

Second, the Plastic Wrap effect isn't visible enough. Add some more shading to the Hard Light layer, and tinker with the Plastic Wrap settings until you can see more detail in the finished result.

Third, there's just too much distortion of the wood view. We only need a very subtle change here: it's only a thin layer of liquid, and it will only have a slight distorting effect on the table.

Try again - and let us see the results! But don't be disheartened. You have all the right ingredients, it's only the mixture that's not quite right.

Okay how's this? I think I still have a few problems but I'm getting there.

The problems I faced though was the rough edges of the liquid in the bottle itself and hiding it behind the neck of the bottle. But it'll be another case of dodge and burn though wont it?

Yeah, I learnt something from this, it's more of a Dodge and Burn job than a Plastic Wrap job XD

I made this from a photo I took, after the normal treatment, I added auto colour controls to all the layers after and added a little mix of the blur filters to fit the quality of the original photo, what do you think?
