Re: How to delete reflections
you can try this. depending on how large you intent to print. I used the healing brush with the hardness settings at 50% and slowly worked the reflectional out, with trying to keep the color correct. To me the blue seems to less as we get closer to mother earth. Bob |

Re: How to delete reflections
The other image is going to be much harder. I'd recommend this: 1. Make a selection roughly the shape of the glare on the road. 2. Inverse the selection. It's the darker area you want to brighten, not the reflection you want to darken, in this case. 3. With the selection still active, make a new Curves or Levels Adjustment Layer. 4. Brighten until the dark area matches the brighter, reflected area. 5. Refine the selected area by painting on the mask on the Adjustment Layer - this is created automatically when you add an Adjustment Layer to a selection. With a soft-edged brush, you should just about be able to blend the adjustment into the image. Sorry I don't have time to work up an example. Hope this works for you! Steve |

Alessandro |

Steve, thank you very much, it works, but it hasn't been easy. Grazie mille. You all have been very helpful. |

Another method: Enter quick mask and paint in the dark area with a large soft brush. Exit quick mask and copy the selection to a new layer. Change the new layer mode to Screen Reduce opacity to get a match. Try to select just a bit more than you need so you can remove the halo with a layer mask, but if you use a big soft brush in Quick mask, it should be minimal. |
