Image Restoration?
Hello all,

I was asked if I could improve the two photos below. Unfortunately, I haven't done any photo restoration and don't know where to start. Any suggestions, pointers, advice would be appreciated.

Re: Image Restoration?
Are those scanned from printed originals? Looks like a nasty case of screen clash there. The best solution would be to try scanning them again at different angles - often this can make a big difference to the result.

If you don't have the originals, your best bet is probably to try the Median filter at just 1 pixel. It will soften the image, but should help to get rid of most of the noise.

Steve,

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, the images posted are all I have to work with.
