Re: The avatar repository.
If this works, how do I add it to my profile.
Still haven't figured out "attaching things to the Forum" tricks yet.

Re: The avatar repository.
In case you're wondering, it's a "pixel pusher"

Robyn. As the image is hosted elsewhere, simply paste the URL into the box under where your photo should be in your profile.

Re: The avatar repository.
Steve Mac, Robyn: You need to go to the Personal menu at the top of the page, then Edit Profile, and paste in your avatar URL there. But only once, Robyn! You've put it in three times! This is what you should paste in there:

Steve Mac, paste in this:

Re: The avatar repository.
Thanks Steve. Greatly appreciated. For future reference, how would I change my avatar?

If you click on "Personal" at the top of the screen and then click "Edit Profile" in the left-hand "Personal" box then your avatar will be shown along with it's URL directly underneath. You can change this URL at anytime and click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom.

Re: The avatar repository.
one thing I've never been able to understand is why in our profiles our avatars are 100 px by 100 px and yet on the forums it is 70 px by 70 px. There seems to be enough room in the columns for our avatars to be 100 by 100 - It's not a big problem but when you have saved your image at 100 by 100 further compression makes it look awful.

Here's my new one full size

which illustrates what the lost of those extra pixels mean in comparison with the forum version which makes my eyes look weird
