Spooky
This church was destroyed by a V1. I thought it would make a good subject for a night time scene.

Think it will too. Look forward to seeing what you do with it

Re: Spooky
I'd take that as a compliment on photo-realism

Hehe, diplo- or door-?

Bobby, that's a good image. Maybe add a blue solid colour adjustment layer to the whole image and set its blend mode to Colour to give the moonlit effect?

Oh........beg your pardon - reasons being for me wondering - as David has already said, a blue cast over the image would have simulated nightime a little more. It was the very green grass that made me think you hadn't retouched yet.
Also not too sure about the strength of the shadows - it is only moonlight after all, maybe a little fuzziness would add to the realism ?

Myself I find it helps to look at real life to get a feeling for the image I want to create - in this instance a look at the colour of grass in actual moonlight would have helped, then again sometimes you have to trust your judgement, unless you really can find Elvis waiting for his train !

Re: Spooky
thought I'd better put my words into practise - used colour balance and upped the blue on both midtones and shadows (which I did attempt to soften too) anyhow.....

(edit) and if I hadn't been so trigger happy with the send button I'd have probably tweaked the saturation a bit - it's a bit too bright/blue for me - I'll have to have a look in the garden tonight !!

Re: Spooky
Great picture BoobyJo. These are actually good pictures for the Friday Challenges. I prefer making my spooky pictures less colorful, and more dramatic.
