Well, I am new here. Got thebook a week or so ago and think its 'Magic' Shall get some of my stuff up as soon as I can figure out how to lol.

Great image! I really like the way you're sitting just outside the frame, it gives a great balance to the picture. A couple of suggestions: first, it might be good to add some shading to one side of the box to make it more 3D. And the top of the box, for realism, should be rather brighter than the sides.

Had you thought of using Advanced Blending to bring some of those clouds in front of the bottom of the box? It would help to position it within the scene, rather than just floating on top.

Thanks steve, nice to have found somewhere to go! I will look in to making the shades and advanceded blending, been thinking something was missing. thanks. Fantastic book by the way !!!

Hey thats looking good thanks! I was thinking that I should have added maybe a bit of a blur to the clouds, not too much but just a little, it would have brought more focus to the cube perhaps.
