Celtic Knotwork
As I'm particularly fond of all things Celtic in design, some years ago I painted a Celtic Knot on my living room wall. However, when we moved I wasn't able to take my artwork with me and rather silly of me I hadn't taken a photograph of it. Luckily, as I looking through some old photos I noticed part of the design in the background of a portrait shot and was at last able to re-create this (what I believe to be unique) design in Illustrator and imported over to Photoshop for refinement. So here they are: ![]() Celtic Blue (a nice blue tinted metal effect) ![]() Celtic Silver (Standard chromed effect) ![]() Original Illustration The concept behind the Celtic Knot is that it represents the never-ending path of life & nature (if you trace round the image you will always return to your start point. There are also many intersections and turns which represents the cross-roads, twists, and turns with-in our lives. Plus I think they are beautiful in their intricacy. _________________ mad as a badger and twice as furry |
