Another political montage
Hi All, its Aaron again... today I was asked to do a small graphic for a story in my labor magazine. The story is about how the Byrd Amendment was repealed by our wonderful vice president Cheney. I dont know if those of you across the pond follow US politics or not but I am sure you are aware of how much trouble we are in with this administration in office. Oh... and the headline above this image is "Byrd Takes a Bath" Comments... bear in mind, my turnaround time was under 1 hour. Cheers

lol very nice. Very neat and tidy with some nice humour. Although think I would have been tempted to open the beak of the bird on the birch and had a small brain in its mouth. |

Excellent! A great rim around the bird bath, well blended into the head. The only thing I might have done differently would have been to rotate Cheney so his head was vertical - but a really good job, done to a tight deadline. Well done! |

I thought I would have a play. Have moved the eyes and added the brain however on such a small image it looks more like a walnut! hey but thats right right?  |

Wow... thanks for the input guys! Steve, I initially wanted to rotate his head but time I was afraid I wouldnt finish in time. Chris, the eyes were a great touch... i showed my editor and asked if i could have ten minutes to make that change on the final piece... he agreed but he didnt, however, go for the walnut size brain... HA! Thanks a ton!!! |
