old book
Whipped this up this morning in photoshop. No photomontaging here, just brushes and filters and free transforming. ![]() |

The book is really nice. The shading and distressing are both excellent but I particularly like the highlights on the edges, these are really convincing. I haven't seen your work before, I hope that you stick around for a while and show us some more. rufus |

Re: old book
Thanks alot. I posted a lot back when this forum was in its infancy and so were my photoshop skills. I am happy to say, with the help of HTCIP and a lot of practice I have gotten a lot better. I have developed some techniques that I will probably end up sharing on the tutorials board. |

Excellent! Particularly good highlights on the edges, and a fantastic paper effect. Some kind of title on the spine, perhaps? |

A great job on the book. I hope you *will* post up a tutorial on how you did it...although my guess will be that it's all a bit too complex for a tutorial. Really nice work... *PHOTOSLOPPER* _________________ Photoshop is the last refuge of scoundrels. |
