HDR
I have been playing around with HDR off and on and am finally having some success. I have found using Photomatrix easier than Photoshop.
Have also had to invest in a good tripod.

Where do you live? The view looks spectacular. The sun going below the mountains is simply breath-taking. I have used photomatrix as well it is a very easy program to master and the results are flawless.

I used them for an event that was held here in town and the photos came out really drab because of the overcast day. I messed with the temperature and saturation in photomatix and achieved great results.

thanks Scott and Marty

I live in Nelson, New Zealand. The photos are the view from our house, just had to step outside on the deck to take them. They are taken about 10 minutes apart. It's the Moon setting. I'm looking straight west.

Thanks, funny enough I was looking at his site yesterday after seeing one of his techniques in the Australian Magazine 'Better Photoshop techniques' one of my favourite mags.

I downloaded the original from their website, and followed the Lightroom instructions to create the 2nd image. great instructions, my pic looks just like the one in the magazine.
