Birthday Card
This is the birthday card I recently made for my daughter's twelfth birthday. I got her an iPod touch as a present, so thought it was a good idea to make her a card with her own personalised iPod on the front. Aside from 8 app icons which I copied from screenshots of my own iPhone everything else in the image I made from scratch in photoshop. After I had given her the card I realised that I had introduced a mistake into the image because I had been looking at my iPhone for inspiration while I has been creating the picture; see if you can spot the "extra" which shouldn't be there ...

I think that is excellent Vern, I'm sure she was very pleased, (as you were no doubt)!

Thank you all for your kind comments. Stafano correctly identified my "deliberate" mistake. I had included mobile phone signal bars on the iPod ... Doh! Anna, although iPod should be there I think you may have spotted another faux pas as I think that iPod should start with a small "i" not a capital "I" as I have shown. Looking again at Stefano's post he may have identified the "I" in his red ellipse also. Actually another change which I made deliberately with artistic license was to show only 16 apps on the screen rather than 20 in reality as I wanted the app icons to be bigger. Thanks all |

I treated myself to one of these last week, but haven't got a clue how to drive it yet. I wish I had a handy 12 year old to teach me. LOL |
