Smudged

I'm not sure this is the right place to show this - it DID start out as a montage..........then I discovered how much fun the smudge tool could be (pre discovering liquify). Anyway - here 'tis.

Re: Smudged
Most interesting. A fan of Dali, by any chance?

The smudge tool is well worth exploring, and as it happens it's the key to doing this week's Friday Challenge - drawing the dress. For a job like this one, though, I'd tend to stick with Liquify: the ability to mask areas on the fly makes it more suitable for both large and detailed work.

Not sure about the fabric at the bottom, which seems too two-dimensional compared with the figure at the top.

Oh, and remember that if you replace http in a photobucket link with img, and then put the whole address in square brackets, you can make the image show up directly in the forum.

Who isn't a fan of Dali??? I'm playing with the Liquify filter - the possibilities are stunning!

Re. the fabric.........why, Steve, that's her Sunday-go-to-meetin' dress! Seriously, point taken.
