Re: broken screen
Very subtle Joey. Well constructed IMHO. Great textures.
Its funny these screens. Don't really have them in temperate climates, but yes, just to contradict, have in Beijing and Finland, keeps the pesky mozies out, well to a degree.
Those screens remind me of quite a few enigmatic US films. Menacing.
From art perspective, you don't need to explain (see some of mine!), but am intrigued, and won't explain my limited view why a wasp breaks through the broken screen ..and unhappy face.. but I might have some ideas.....

Re: broken screen
Thanks guys..........

I found a tutorial to make the mesh, and it just followed that something had to be behind it.
Someone said to me "What the hell? Who'd ever want it?" I must be losing my touch 'cause all I could reply was "who cares?"

Well, this same person thinks "thrift shop art" is a wonderful investment. Go figure........

I think I'd find that difficult Joey . I never really put words to my images. I'd have to respond with an image for yours. I can't put into words at the moment. The images should/will work for themselves and give free prejudice.

I loved to read Angela Carter's novels and Salvador Dali's only novel ... and more ....

I very very seldom title my work......viewer response is usually much more interesting without the influence of titles. I know I'm usually put off by "deep meaningful very ambiguous" titles. Different strokes, huh?

Re: broken screen
Yes agree Joey. I rarely give titles to my paintings/drawings. Then as a viewer, even of my own sometimes, fascinating to experience with freedom and not corralled, I often get orthogonal 3+D thoughts ...... i.e. The power of images which words find difficult to express ...
