Glengarry Glen Ross
Can't remember if I've posted this previously, so apologies if I have. And apologies for the fake sky too - I know Steve hates them!

Re: Glengarry Glen Ross
I like the dual play on fins here. Very appropriate. I'm not sure what the title treatment is supposed to indicate, though: I can't relate the overlapping lettering to anything.

In the film (and the play), light filters in to their office through venetian blinds, which is why I've used the pattern in the background on the logo. The overlapping lettering just seemed to work as a visual trearment.
Would you not have done it that way?

Hi Chris,
I liked the lettering treatment, but found the fins looked a bit strange. Its the shape of the lighter bit (2nd shape up) and the hard darker part near the top that I found distracting. High-flying sharks??

You mean the shadow running under the top leading edge, I think.
Will have another look at it.

Nicely done Chris, the two 'N'-s that fit in each other.
Is that why the name Glen Ross isn't in the middle?

Thanks Sjef. No - they're not in the middle because this was a mock-up "for the fun of it" exercise, so I was a bit lazy. I do apologise! I normally do the lining up stuff when I'm preparing to go to print! Nice work on the cassette and bike by the way.
