Refloated Dinghy
Having grown up in Iowa I don't have much experience with the way large bodies of water look. I expect water to lie more flat. But, I think I need to start thinking of ocean scenes like this as just large fields of very blue grass. I hope this is more in perspective. I tried to imagine the raft on the level and the men standing up in it and then put their heads at the horizon line. ![]() _________________ I'm still learning. |

Much better! Nowhere in the UK is more than 70 miles from the sea. How far is it from you? |

Currently the Pacific ocean is only 35 miles away. However, I would have to drive over a low mountain range to get there. From where I grew up the West coast was approximately 1,800 miles away and the East coast was approximately 1,300 miles away. _________________ I'm still learning. |
