"classic" montage.
The film, not my montage! I did this for a friend who is a big fan of Casablanca. As this is the first work I've ever posted I'd really welcome any feedback.

That's a great image! The one thing I'd suggest is take a little of the contrast out of his face. Other than that, it's great.

This works really well. I particularly like the fact you've chosen a photo of your friend looking away from the camera, which makes the image that much more convincing. The grain and tone match really well, and the neck join is seamless.

Trinity, I don't agree about the contrast. Which one do you think is the montage?

I thought it was the man on the left, the shadows looked a little rougher than the other two people (I'm probably displaying the fact that I've never seen Casablanca ).

OK, it is the man on the left. That's where Humphrey Bogart used to be. But what do you mean, you've never seen Casablanca? How is that possible? You'll be telling me next you haven't seen the Sound of Music.

Evidentally not, it seems - I have also never seen the whole of Pulp Fiction, I think I need to review my existance

Trinity, I know what you mean about the contrast. I increased it to match the original which was quite contrasty and blurred slightly but it was hard to match.

I love The Sound of Music !
