Yet another bit of sillyness.

That is spot on absolutely brilliant. Although if you don't mind me suggesting it but perhaps a straw for the coke it would balance out the picture a bit and give a strong vertical directing the eye down to the Marlborough "Fries" - you might even consider having the straw look like a cigarette. Excellent. It really works, and tying together McD, Coke and Marlboro does bundle all the baddies together well. I absolutely agree with Becky about the straw! The extra height would help break the tight square nicely. |

On reflection, I agree totally about the 'tightness' (yet another instance of needing composition guidance, ahem-3rd edition-ahem). The fries box itself took an absolute age, the original was a promotional TIFF I got from their site a long time ago and I had hell trying to work out/remember the shape of the damn things to get the lighting right. By the time I got to putting the piece together, I was somewhat weary of the whole thing :/ _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |

Cool image, i really like that. One question Im curious about though - if you were to ever get that published, would you get into trouble for using the corporate logos? |

You'd only get into trouble if they were inclined to sue - and, let's face it, they'd look pretty silly sueing a montage. I've used Disney, McDonalds, Coke and other logos in my work in newspapers and haven't been sued yet. The question is, what grounds would they have? Implying that Coca Cola make soft drinks? Or that Marlboro make cigarettes? Great work, by the way, and the straw makes all the difference! |

I haven't heard of companies sueing over the use of a logo. What does happen, is companies will get very irate when their products/logos are distorted or parodied. This happened to Worth1000.com, they were threatened with legal action by Krispy Kreme, after someone photoshopped their product in a derogatory way. _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |
