LOL ... Nice work Marty, gives the picture a nice bit of drama and a bit of a story ... Me thinks you're a bit of a rebel on the quiet ![]() |

Ha! Excellent! You've turned an anodyne image into something remarkable. Great work! (But shouldn't that cop car have a shadow in the same direction as the other one?) |

The photographer who shot this wedding asked me to restore the car in this shot which is obviously more difficult than the head on shot. Your opinions are appreciated, valued and appreciated. ![]() |

Re: my wednesday challenge
In the first picture the blurring of the getaway (?) car is a little too strong for my taste. But taste is always a matter of opinion. Personally I would make a copy on a new layer of the first car, add blur to it and then selectively use a layer mask to add blur in a controlled manner. And I agree with Steve that the shadow of the police car should be in the same direction as that of the other. But your approach to the picture is brilliant! You did a great job in the second picture restoring that car. A further enhancement I can think of would be to add a little more shine to the left fender. Compare with the reflections you see in the right one. I would simply borrow (=clone stamp) some of those reflections. Maybe a slight shadow from the couple on that fender would look good, too, but you probably would have to use the warp tool for that. Hope this can be of some help. _________________ It must be a clipping mask, I never could get the hang of clipping masks |
