The Sunday Funny Papers
Photoshop User Magazine (April/May 2006) has a tutorial on creating a line drawing from a photo. I thought this was a fun but like the jigsaw puzzle not to be overdone project. Anyways, mguyer and mrs mguyer got into this weeks funny papers.

A very good technique. Patterned clothes are always tricky, though - better to change that to a flat colour, and add your own shading.

Did you have to do much manual work on this image? Or was it largely automated?

Re: The Sunday Funny Papers
The only real manual work was erasing a lot of dots and lines on the skin and thining down some of the lines around the chin. I can see now that I might have done some more erasing on the collar of my wife's jacket and my ear.

How about a tutorial on this for those of us not lucky enough to have the magazine? Don't know if you can, with copyright and all that stuff....
