Riding The School Bus
This is a theme I have used before. Visited our grandchild (and parents last week). No time for Fri Challenge. Took picture of toy school bus. Came home and added grandkid to bus. Took picture of toy schoolhouse on gray carpet. Put bus and kid on school/ gray carpet pix, changed carpet to green on another layer set to overlay and added grass fringe to edge. Used white to blue gradient for the sky. Added "purple moon" (name of preschool he goes to). Comments most welcome.

A classy piece of work Martin, excellent perspective and lighting, I can't think of any way to improve it.

This is a fantastic montage Marty! The only thing I would suggest is to inverse your background gradient, ie make the top part lighter then the bottom part. Even incline it a bit, let's say at a 4 o'clock angle. The light on the school and on the bus suggests that.

Thanks Pierre. I will give it a try. I am currently completely absorbed with the Nikon 18-200mm VR lens which I got yesterday after a 4 month hunt.

STEEEEEEVE, How about some input on this one. As regards the sky...dark on top or dark on bottom???????

Interesting work. One think that stands out to me is some cloning repetition on the grass

Re: Riding The School Bus
Here's a test. I am not sure it is better though... I used a radial gradient.

I like mine better but I think we need Steve's wisdom of Solomon.

Re: Riding The School Bus
Cool Montage. I like it. Perspective looks really good. I have to agree though that the shadows suggest that the light should be up high and to the right, but that is just my personal thought.
