Attempting an image in the style of Edward Hooper USA artist.

That's a good attempt, Ben, and it's nice to see you back. The lit window certainly has a Hopper (not Hooper, note) feel to it, and the lighting on the large square building balances it nicely.

The eagle, though, is a real distraction. Edward Hopper's paintings were all about telling stories, and the story here is about the relationship between the man on the balcony and the one walking down the street. The eagle just draws our attention away, without adding anything.

What's that blob at the bottom centre? I couldn't work it out.

Thank you for your response Steve & yes I misspelt his name. I agree on the eagle. The blob is a potted plant that are along the street. This is a compilation of the images I took in Cortina that morning.
