New Book - Name Suggestion
I would highly recommend Steve somehow appends the all-important "CS2" to the 3rd edition's title.

I dont mean a separate badge saying "Updated for CS2", but actually including it in the title.

Why? Well, I was just browsing at amazon - and entered "CS2" with Category = "Books"and looked through the 60 results (my credit cards were twitching, urging me to spend some cash (!)

Then it struck me, "Where's Steve's book?"

I tried "Photoshop CS2" - 31 matches, no "Cheat In Photoshop"

This means many potential buyers, when considering which new tome(s) to purchase wont even consider your book !

Of course, enter "Photoshop" and it appears ranked something like 22 out of 1000 results. Personally, and Im sure Im not alone, I would never enter so general a searchword as Im not interested in older books.

I think that's a valid point, Paul and one that may have been initially overlooked.

How to Cheat in CS2
CS2 - How to Cheat in Photoshop
How to Cheat in Photoshop CS2

I wonder what poor old Steve will make of it after being so busy putting his third book together, it's a wonder the chap has got any hair left

Very interesting idea, Paul. I'll pass this on to the publishers!

I'm not sure adding CS2 to the main title is such a good idea. People with earlier versions might be put off.

Yes, you dont want "HTCI Photoshop CS2" - but you DO need CS2 in the title -so if you make the official title something like "HTCIP -3rd Edition, Fully Updated for CS2" then the book will appear on searches for CS2 keyword, and still not scare off those with earlier versions.

Re: New Book - Name Suggestion
I agree with the search thing....I only searched the keyword "CS2" for new books....I didn't see Steves book but maybe because I'm not using the UK Amazon site.

I did find it typing the whole name though,,,but I already know about this book & love it....new users wouldn't know.

Re: New Book - Name Suggestion
The name suggestion has been implemented - the full title is now How to Cheat in Photoshop - the art of creating realistic montages - updated for CS2. Thanks again for the suggestion, Paul!
