does anybody can tell if Steve is going to write another book in details for beginners exactly the same as above |

Hi mattu, and thanks for the question. The short answer is no. But the longer answer is yes and no. Let me explain... A couple of years ago I came up with the idea for a Photoshop book for kids, called Photoshop for Kids. I spent 18 months trying to get publishers interested, and none could see the point. Then Peachpit got a look at it, and the upshot is that they're going to publish it under their Adobe Press imprint, which is great news. Two things have changed. Firstly, we've decided to make the book about Photoshop Elements, rather than the full version, and secondly, the title Photoshop for Kids seems to have been taken by someone else, so it will have a rather more longwinded name. The main problem here, however, is that Peachpit need the book finished by the end of this month. Which means the third edition of Cheat will now be delayed by a couple of months. Sorry about that, everyone, but the kids' book really, really needs to be done. It's one I'm hugely proud of, and I'll post some sample pages nearer the time so you can see why. Mattu, I realise that doesn't really answer your question. Or does it? Steve |

Can't wait for the kids book. It is truly enlightening when you see how the generation that is just beginning to get into computers are so well adapted to it, my daughter is only 4 and loves "helping" me with some of my images and she is turning into a right little artist, what age is the book aimed at and when should it be out on the shelves? All these questions and so early too...  |

The kids book is a great idea. My son, Kurtis, who is eight years old has been asking me to load photoshop on his computer so he can have a go at the examples in classroom in a book and the ultimate photoshop examples in "How to Cheat in Photoshop" by Steve Caplin. Do you know this man? 
I would gladly go out and buy photoshop elements for Kurtis just so that he uses his computer for something useful rather that games all the time. Steve i assume you will inform the forum when the new kids book is released so we can all rush out and buy it for our little terrors? |

Never mind kids, my Dad has just started using PS elements and he's 73, not long using computers but really keen to learn - Max Pixel and the pensioners outing ? _________________ minds are like parachutes - they only work when they are open |
