How to Cheat in Photoshop CS5: Pictures, please!
I'm in the final stages of preparing the new edition of the book. In the past, several Forum members have generously donated images for inclusion on the DVD, for readers and other Forum members to use in their personal projects. Once again, I'm asking that you dig deep into your archives to see if you have any images that would be suitable for readers to practise their montage skills on. I'll leave the choice of subject up to you - but please, no images of people, as the model release issues would be a nightmare to work around. Please email images to me at c@plin.com or, for larger files, I strongly recommend using YouSendIt. It's an excellent free service that allows you to send files of up to 100Mb without any payment - the best way I know of sending files that are too big to email. Thanks in advance! Steve |

I think I have a couple of weeks on this one - the book itself is just about finished (of which more very soon), and once it's off at the proofreaders I'll start putting the DVD together, including recording as many new video tutorials as I can before my voice gives out. |

I'll send you a few. On the road at the moment again, so send them circa Wed ~ Thursday next week. Do you just want JPEG 8bit, or some TIFFs 16bit, or even PDF 16 bit? Mine are quiet large 6 ~ 12 Mb, but I think that gives chance for your readers to mess around with them before they, the images  , start falling apart. I assume the former. |

Many thanks to all who have sent in images - I've now got a really impressive collection of outstanding pictures for the DVD, and I know they're going to be a big help to readers. The DVD is now finished, complete with a huge selection of new tutorial movies. More details soon! |
