Choosing b/w this book & ' 100% Photoshop'
Hi Steve, I happened to come across both the books at amazon, and wasn't sure which one to start with. I have a basic idea of photoshop, Selections/ Layers/Masks,Blend Modes ..everything in the context of editing photos,but i would definitely like to learn more about using photoshop not just to edit photos..but to recreate any real world object i can look like at & also understand the principles needed to create any design (eg : lighting/shading/texture etc) Which among these 2 books would you recommend to start with. |

100% Photoshop is all about drawing artwork from scratch, without using any photographs. It assumes you already know a fair amount about all the tools. I think How to Cheat in Photoshop would help you to learn how to use the tools more effectively, and would be a better book for you to start on. Hope this helps! Steve |
