Contest 28: Fox hunting
A couple of months ago, johnwhite generously offered us the use of his pictures of stuffed animals for use on this site. Well, John, we're taking you up on that. This pair of foxes has been well mounted in realistic poses - but I think it's time to liberate them from their museum enclosure. Where else might they appear? Bear in mind that foxes are shy creatures, and can be difficult to spot…

High res is here.

Now theres the bonus of getting the first entry in, no-one else has taken your idea.

Pah, if it wasn't for my pesky kids always wanting my attention I would have had Arthur Sarnoff in the bag!

Feel though that he is maybe missing a piece of clothing... and you say he's shy??

No offense, I was pondering a similar idea! Where did you get that image, I spent an awfully long time searching for hunt images a while ago and came up a blank!

Its my good old Dad again. His years working as a press photographer in the Sussex counrtyside pays off occasionally
Shame about he's photographic advice

I agree that the hunt for "Hunt" pics turns up a big blank on Google. Good Luck to anyone else trying

You could always try typing in 'cruel heartless sadistic b*****ds' instead - (oops, just realised I may have started this weeks fight with that comment, if it's caused offence I apologise. Not really, they are cruel heartless etc. etc.) Any replies to this comment please make it in private messages and not in this challenge - thanks

I just cant seem to stop myself this week... I'm on a roll! I think I also need to get out in the fresh air!

Just like to add that no animals were or will be harmed in the making of this image, after-all it is an ACME!

Speaking of my horses *Looks at the foxes position*... Na, just kidding. I wouldn't do that to a poor stuffed fox. Here is my picture.

EDIT: Fixed it a bit

Thank you for the kind words. I really had a problem with the shadow, but if you look closely at the tree you will find a shadow of the standing fox on the left and under the standing fox for the Kit. No matter how I tried I could not match color of the tree shadow so I reduced the opacity to almost nothing. Having said that I will take a 7 anyday. Thanks.

Well thanks for your comments Atomicfog, it was just darn lucky that I happen to be walking down the street the other day when I saw those foxes riding the horses at the Hunt. Otherwise I would have had to put some work into it to make them fit, you know with PERSPECTIVE and DEPTH!!

As for picture 2, the cartoony ACME detonator and dynamite is infact intended... have you never seen a Roadrunner cartoon??

So come on Atomicfog, lets here your assessment on your own work??
