Contest 44: a desk job
When I'm not at my desk Photoshopping, I like spending my weekends building stuff out of wood. Last weekend I made this school desk, and starting tomorrow I'm going to distress it to make it look old and battered. Unless you'd like to have a go first? High res is here, and there's a clipping path if you want to take it off its background. |

Wow, that broken joint at the end looks truly 'broke' I can't wait 'til I am good enough to smash stuff up. Amazon emailed to say my CS2 shipped on Friday, maybe it will be here on Monday (ever the optimist). I will be a new and improved PS'er on Monday |

You have to remove the old stain before you refinish Steve. _________________ -Never met a PS'er I didn't like- Will Rogers |

One does not ask for an official title. It shall come to you when it feels ready... |

I got the image but not the clipping path! Where did I go wrong ? [quoted] High res is here, and there's a clipping path if you want to take it off its background. _________________ BJ - Photoshop driver just qualified. |

Re: Contest 44: a desk job
He messed up I believe, there is no clipping path. I cut it out manually since it is such a simple shape. _________________ -Atomic |

Re: Contest 44: a desk job
Glad I'm not the only one who didn't get the clipping path... BTW, could someone please like, PM me some tips on how they got such good results? I've tried so many things but none of them have turned out as good as the images posted here. Neal, your entry is just... brilliant. I reckon even Steve might have competition. I don't suppose you could give me some help? |

Oh hell, yes, you're right, there is no clipping path. There was until I did Save for Web, and then of course it got removed. Sorry. |
