Contest 94: Happy birthday, Eggbox!
Next Friday is Eggbox's 65th birthday, and he's generously agreed to let us fiddle with his image for this week's Challenge. Ted rejoices in the wonderful surname of Eggs, if that gives you any inspiration! What I'd really like is to show Ted as he appeared in his youth. Do you think you can make those years melt away? Alternatively, you might suggest ways he could spend his retirement... High res of Ted is here.

I will deal with his retirement another day but I was able to obtain this picture of him from his family archives taken when he was only one and a half years old. Oh, how the years just fly. What is really amazing is that except for his need for glasses, he really hasn't changed.  |

Happy Birthday! Now that you're almost signed up for a more sedate life, there's only one way to make sure that you keep active. No alcohol, no swearing, no singing, no eating, no petting up the back......

When shopping groceries the other day I bought a carton of eggs. To my surprise when I opened the carton I realized this must have been a special edition, celebrating Eggbox's 65th birthday. On the eggs you find pictures of Eggbox at different ages. What you see here seems to be when he is about 25 years old, 40 years old and present. Eggbox, you really are famous all over the world! I have no free time these past few weeks, but I'm always here in spirit. I check in every Friday and download the Challenge. but I don't finish my ideas. For Eggbox's 39th Birthday, I'll put away my commercial and personal pursuits, and try to make Eggbox look his age.   |

Thanks Pixelcrazee BTW, I managed to get hold of the original pictures, so here they are. It looks like Eggbox likes the pattern on that tie very much, it's just the background colour that's different. Strangely enough he's wearing a different one in your picture.

I wish the original had been a higher quality. Not totally happy with this one, but just back from sydney, and it looks likes I have to work the rest of the week. So incase I don't get time for a second try...
