Contest 183: Drip, drip, drip
A bit of a technical challenge this time around. I spent much of last week looking up at this scene - a bottle of immunoglobulin being slowly dripped into me. It was a glass bottle, viewed slightly from below, and with each drip out of the bottle an air bubble rose to the surface of the liquid. At the time this photograph was taken, the surface was covered with bubbles.

Of course, in this version I've taken out the bottle itself (and apologies for the rather rough background patching, my hands still aren't quite back to normal). I've left the cap there so you can see where it should go.

So here's the challenge: redraw the bottle, using the cap as a base. Remember it needs some mechanism to hang from the stand. I'm looking for realism here - although, the forum being what it is, I'd expect some flippancy in the mix.

Next Friday I'll publish the original photo, for comparison.

High res is here.

Well, Mr Caplin, our Dr Simpson came up with this idea after a few beers.
We have miniaturised this submarine which we shall inject into your brain. It will carry Miss Welch here who is, even now, being reduced to a very tiny size. She will run around for no apparent reason in a very skimpy bikini checking all your brain cells to find out exactly what, if anything, is going on in there.
There may be a few side effects such as the submarine suddenly exploding back to its normal size but don’t worry – Dr Simpson assures me that he has it all under control………..

Hello all, I have enjoyed the forums and especially the book: How to Cheat in Photoshop CS3 over the past several weeks, so I figured why not jump in too.

Before he woke up, Steve had the strangest dream about some far off land!!!!

Not my best work, but I haven't done that much Photoshopping in nearly a year and I did spend almost 4 months drinking the great Alaskan Amber!

Good point regarding the pole. So for this I changed the orientation of the hook, and figured that I better throw in an opener for that bottle of Alaskan Amber and Cointreau....

p.s. thanks for the Welcome!

This is from a chilling horror movie. Makes your blood freeze, doesn't it?

I walked around holding a glass of water over my head to come up with this refraction. I also wanted to add to your liquor cabinet this week, so I turned it into vodka. Two-for-one IV specials after 5 P.M.
