					Challenge 396: Paint job needed
I saw this old car yesterday by the side of the road. It must have been magnificent once. Do you think there's any possibility of restoring it to its former glory? If you think it's just too far gone, perhaps you could suggest an environmentally friendly way of disposing of the remains. High res is here. ![]() |

http://vimeo.com/39530316 Can’t do a lot with this Steve, but I know a man who can.
Quick Question: Each week I struggle to get my image to come in within the 100k limit for the site and still be largish on screen, my method has been to first reduce the image width to around 500 pixels then save as .JPG then reduce the quality to around 4/12 but as you can see the results are far smaller than others. Any tips please? |

Very nice, perfect, well placed, classic restore job Nick! Well sorted Gordon for Dell boy ... someone will have to explain that UK TV series to those unaware .. not me I only see several, but classic UK comedy.
Wonderful Anna, I like the message of the clock and I love the music, great final result, and he's dressed better after his hard work, so must have got a good AUD $ wedge ! Great getting in there first Ant. I have not started my engine yet! Tough entries to follow already, I'm thinking I'll be going off road soon viz off the brief again |

My take - too far gone - the crusher will make sure you're driving it soon in all it's new shiny glory (rust included under the paint). Steve I just happened to take this pic last summer in a dump in Labrador, Canada. Never know when a pic might come in handy especially for the Friday challenge. Thanks Sophie. I enjoyed this one. Just have to tell myself to stop tinkering with it _________________ You're never too old to learn something stupid. |

This is my attempt to create the basic car body from scratch using the original car outline. The hood/bonnet has not been set into place yet! ![]() |
