I'd feel much more able to judge Tabitha's image if I knew what she started with. Are all those mammoths positioned by you? Or did some of them come with the scene? No, that can't be the case… but when it's this difficult to tell if an image is a photograph or a montage, you know you must be doing something right. Great interaction between the beasts, a real sense of them all coexisting in the same space. Good stuff, Tabs.

To answer your question, all the adult mammoths are other statues in France! They seem to have an abundance of them! The baby is actually a drawing which I had to try and make real. All placed in a pic of Yellowstone Park. Certainly not the easiest montage I have attempted, and after the fantastic humourist versions that preceded mine, I was a little worried that it was too boring!
