Help,David!Picture gone walkies

Sorry to bother you with this,but my entry has gone walkies.THere was only an unclickable icon from pixentral that said Hot Link,and had the red circle with the line behind it.I reuploaded to image sahck,and got yhe link to appear.I've tried to replace the whole thing with an image from my own files,but no go.Is there any way I can go ahead and do that?
I would have tried to change the url on the image as per your instructions,but I'm still not sure where to insert it in the address.I'm really new to that sort of thing.

What brilliant minds have seen under the surface so far!! My addled flu-ridden peabrain isn't working this weekend. Thinking has been difficult but there had to be something under Downing Street - then I figured what it was.

It looks like the site where you have your image stored doesn't allow hot linking.

Try editing your original post and use http://www.imageshack.us/ to upload your image,

Hey Dek, your photo provided me with a bit of a coincidence last night. While watching some news show on TV, they showed Downing St. with a back-ho similar to the one in your picture!! This was about an hour or two after I had viewed your entry. I couldn't believe it! Very odd timing.

Alice yours was very humorous. I thought I told you not to put poor Raffy in the hole!! At least you were nice enough to give him a hard hat.

Alice, don't use pixentral. Try it the way I told you by loading it from your computer to this site. Just make sure you save for web first and it's under 80K

A back-hoe is the digger in the background of your picture. They use the scoop to the rear of the machine, hence "back-hoe."

Webster's defines it as such: "An excavator whose bucket is rigidly attached to a hinged pole on the boom and is drawn backward to the machine when in operation."
