Re: Contest 89: Mother's Day
Once his painting became well known, try as he might, James couldn't protect his mother from the constant stream of inconsiderate tourists. |

Good one,Bob!But you'd better keep an eye on the paintings-those souvenir hunters will take anything! And a Happy Mother's Day to you all in Britain! (BTW,in Canada,it always falls on the 2nd Sunday in May,but you can never be too early to give Mom a treat!) _________________ Dogs have masters;Cats have staff. |

Re: Contest 89: Mother's Day
Some fun entries this week! Alice thanks for letting all our UK and US members know when our Mother's day is! I was going to and I forgot. We 3 Canadians have a great country to represent. That baby in my picture is my nephew's son. It was quite the time trying to get the colour to match. Making the kid yellow, goes against everything a Mother knows. It makes him look jaundaced. However, this is an oil painting and they do yellow with age!! _________________ Pauline |

Bob visits mother on Mother's Day only out of obligation so you can imagine the disappointment when mother was denied her pedicure! _________________ Steve Mac |

Do like I do: take the limo out and drive the poor thing to the sea side. PS: it's me in the car... _________________ |

Mother didn't get any visit on Mother's Day. She plays her own sad tune. _________________ It must be a clipping mask, I never could get the hang of clipping masks |

Re: Contest 89: Mother's Day
apparently people hate gif animation and that's makes me talentless. so I've withdrawn it and I have withdrawn myself from the forum sorry for embarassing all with my poor quality animation work, I have so much to learn. Goodbye. _________________ mad as a badger and twice as furry |

Re: Contest 89: Mother's Day
Maiden, that's really fun. Have we ever had a Gif(t) on the Friday Challenge before? If not, more please though I don't know how to do them myself. Marty, you are older than I thought seeing that you posed for Grant Wood's painting of the homesteaders in 1930! Dalton! Oh and I was told mine was risque! |
