Re: Contest 100: The first century!
This sucker has taken me all day...funny thing is the hardest part i found is doing the simple stuff like drawing curves and lines - i have spent too long messing around with layers and styles on photoshop in the past and not learnt basic drawing skills- so someone with more experience could have probably knocked up the structure of this in a few minutes! _________________ Talk is cheap and I aint buyin' any. |

Re: Contest 100: The first century!
all day? I'm on my third day!! I wonder if perhaps I got into a little more than I bargained for and wouldn't get finished but I'm on a roll...........Dinner was already cooked chicken from the grocery store so I didn't have to stop and cook. Haven't seen my family all weekend! _________________ Pauline |

welcome Jnette. Don't worry. It's a friendly bunch around here. Well I took a 2 hour movie break and I'm about to get back at it. Geez, now I know why I prefer to use the cake mixes!! _________________ Pauline |

I took a 3 hour movie break too! I went and saw Cars with my kids. Don't need to be a kid to enjoy that little jewel of animation. Now back to work... _________________ |

My family tells me I must have too much time on my hands. It was hard work not using photos, I don't do anything without photos, even my paintings start as photos. Often manipulated in Photoshop. |

Re: Contest 100: The first century!
Einstein, thanks for your help. I found the picture where you said but still didn't know what to do with it! so went back to my original and renamed it so there is a pic on server named howtocheat1.jpg. sorry about that. Think there are some brilliant pics that everyone has done, I've got a long way to go, but everyones work is inspiring. As is Steves book. |
