Re: Contest 115: Welcome home
Just a couple of minor adjustments to the stair-rail and sky that my tired eyes failed to spot were wrong last night! |

Re: making alterations to our posted images without re-posting. Gordon, it seems we can delete or edit the text in our posts but only delete the attachments. Does anyone know how to edit the attached images themselves without having to re-post? I think James has touched on this before but don't remember seeing a reply, (unless it's in another section of the forum?) |

Wayne, Yes I tried to replace this week's image as I hadn't noticed that I had hidden the 'Duty Free' layer when I flattened it. I could amend the text but not the image hence the two empty posts. It has also had the unfortunate effect of leaving j.harvatt's "Bless' reply rather hanging in limbo. Everybody mentally transpose his reply to under the Dalek pic. I think I actually saw this family at the check-in at Gatwick recently. Gordon |

James, You suggested a "finishing touch perhaps on the brief case.( Robber Baron)." You are so right. A golden chance I missed. Here is another go which hopefully is currently quite topical given the British national ability to bite itself in the foot. Sophie |

Oh dear! I tried to line up the text 'Donations welcome' with the angle of the Red Box or 'budget box' and it has gone skew-whiff. Sophie |

Thanks Sophie. I had already been working on making the arrivee taller but the cameras on the left also needed tilting up. |

[quoted] james wrote: Thank you GKB, I hope I've got it right. How to dispose of the other? James this has worked for me..... I hopethis is the right place to answer You can also replace the attached photo by posting it on an image hosting site (that allows direct linking, some do not), and instead of attaching it, enter its address in the blank body of the message like this. my example will not include the required brackets start [ stop ] which should be placed at the beginning and end of the example img://www.tinypic.com/xxxxxxx.jpg Look at the blue highlighted portion of my picture (above right) , you will see how I enter my pictures. That way if I see a error in my photo I can easily replace it without making a second post. |

Re: Contest 115: Welcome home
Wednesday evening: I'm off to Germany tomorrow to Photokina, courtesy of Wacom, and won't be getting home until Friday afternoon. Which makes Ben Mills' post oddly prescient! I'll try to post the write-up of the Friday Challenge from Cologne Airport if there are any WiFi hotspots (oh, I'm just so damn cool) but if I can't get the technology thing to work, it'll be a bit late this week. Just so you all know! Steve |

David Asch, Have found the site , I've been looking in the wrong area. Your response is appreciated. Thank you. Tank 172, Thank you for the link, it seems you gentlemen have your fingers on the pulse of events. I gather the release date for CS3 is somewhat uncertain, so I shall likely go for an upgrade to CS2. Thanks again. |

Re: Contest 115: Welcome home
Well, here is my entry..late, but I hope still in time! I spent a lot of time removing the figures from their backgrounds, masking in the new background and then, make a decision to have some fun with the Art History brush! So much for all that careful masking, but it was fun. |
