Wow... why not use a likeness of Muhammed? Oh, wait... how'd that work out for the Danes?

This is a game, a joke, and it's a beautiful 'show' of freedom. We show our freedom, playing, joking, smiling and having the chance of making our opinions funny, to get out "fire" of them (I mean, make it them less 'hard' than could seem from outside).

Games... like those little children play on a playground... can be fun and innocent, as have been the majority of challenges posted here to the forum. This one, however, isn't a fun game. Consider those same children making a clown of the teacher who oversees the playground to guard over and do their best to protect the children as they play. Sure, we've all poked fun at our teachers/guardians, because all the kids were doing it... but when we grew up and realized their care, we regretted our childish behavior.

In the project I did, what's illustrated are hot button issues that the viewer can make their own judgment about. Whether it's sports, politics, love, civil disobedience... everybody comes down on one side or the other of those issues. So, yeah... in a manner of speaking, I participated in the challenge. Thanks for saying!

I'm not sure but I think that Voltaire said once: "I don't agree with what you've said, but I would give my life to preserve your right to say it"

Perhaps your sensibility about the fact of joking with G.W.Bush is a little enhanced, perhaps my sensibility about joking with politic is too much shrink... may it be one or another, ... but I still believe that this is not the right place to discuss it.

Probably there are thousands of heavier injuries to fix about anonimous ppl before make a game loose it sense.

And, about the fact of being one one side or another... not all the matters have such an easy breakthrough. Gamma of grays also exist, not only black or white... there's no absolute true or rightness indeed in every action.

You speak of a teacher that protects the pupils... well... maybe that teacher misunderstand sometimes the threads, or sometimes misleads the foes... perhaps, sometimes the teacher shows his human being making mistakes. So, the teacher exposes himself to the critics of pupils, parents and other teachers... as everyone of us do by the simple fact of being alive and take the risk of taking part in the world we live.

I'm playing, and have decided to take part of a game that doesn't hurt no one. I've decided not to make this game more than just a game. If I'd had politic vocation, probably now I'd know nothing about photoshop.

Politics and arts usually hasn't joint too much

Let me say it once again, this is just a game... there are thousands of hard and serious things that probably deserves more your atention and your passion on justice.

nice to meet you.

nice to meet you.

Good to meet you as well.

We agree on many things... this probably isn't the place and the reason why I'm trying to keep it as brief and as neutral as I can. And yes, there are heavier issues... such as how those who violently demonstrated against the Danes see us. Privileged or spoiled? Is it a good thing for them to see a people devoid of respect for their leadership?

And sure, mistakes are made, human after all... So, we mock and deride... where are the WMD's?? And it becomes a chant, a point of derision, and we all laugh. But what's forgotten, overlooked is that for years leading up to that, a dictator made it clear he had them... and I say this based on what was happening long before the subject of this week's joke took office.

Enjoy your freedom to mock... who does it hurt? Many... and I, for one, have never found regret to be painless. Good spirited joking is one thing and I'm all for that... (gordon's retirement challenge) but when it's mean-spirited not so much. (and on this forum when this weeks' subject appears, it's generally anything but good spirited).

And one small disagreement... Art and politics have enjoyed a long fruitful relationship... artists using it to express nationalism, opposition... opinion.

And then the president insisted on putting on his own favourite makeup, the bushman makeup. The left picture halfway through the process and the one to the right is the final result.

Well I can see this has gotten heated over the F.C. this week. I am an American and I am proud to live in a free and democratic society. And I will keep my opinion of MY president to myself. The last time I checked this forum was about Photoshop and Art. And I think anyone thats offended with this weeks challenge should just not participate in it.

Thank you, rather liked yours too.

'dirt doctor' your's is really classy, I agree with your comment too. Just as well Steve didn't get in a huff, considering all the things we did to him last week.

Thanks, Vibeke! I'm just thankful that I'm from a country where I can voice my opinion without being hauled off in shackles and murdered because I have an opinion. I voted for George W. and my daughter served (U.S. Air Force) in Iraq as well as Turkey, and guarded Air Force One on two occasions (thats the presidents airplane for those not from America). And I'm proud she fought for my freedom to be able to express myself along with ALL the other freedoms I posess. I just think this forum isn't the place to discuss our differences. (and you can call me Neil)

History has shown, over and over again, that this is not the case!
