BigVern, I love this one, the reflections, the postcard effect, the way the aircraft is leaving the frame. I think it's great. vicho, If I may make an observation, should'nt the wheels be down. |

Ahhh - the old wheels up landing problem. Sounds like there's going to be an interview in the Chief Pilot's office - without coffee and biscuits! By the way, David, those white bars are the runway threshold markings. Your pilot has about 5 metres of runway left to land on. |

Thanks Vernon! I like your entry too - I haven't seen an 'out of frame' for a while, and I love them. They're great fun to do as well, aren't they? |

2bfree, Know the feeling. Always feel there should be a little some thing else. I do like this. The rocks to the left would be a great viewing point. |

Re: Contest 169: Take to the skies
Meltonian - what a great idea and very well executed. Is it plastic wrap or a real wrapped box montaged? £5 on Ebay may seem attractive but the kicker is always the Postage & Packing charges. Btw does your name mean you are a resident of Melt (like Evertonian)? |

Re: Contest 169: Take to the skies
Thank you Vern (also srowden and Chris Berry) I wish I could claim it was all from scratch, but my source image already had the plastic wrapping... I just dropped my montage in place of the existing picture and then tried to make it look like the plastic went over the top. As for the name, I was born in a small village called Melton in Suffolk so you were on the right lines! |
