I have returned from my annual holiday at the Bradford infirmary. Had 3 weeks bed and board plus a trip to the theater, so Here's my getting back into it entry

Hi there,

I'm a bit of a first timer at this and have been looking at this forum recently with my boyfriend (gobblejuke), I'm studying photography and him product design, so we've both been doing some Photoshop practice as hopefully it'll come in handy later in life...

We're both in the process of making entries into this weeks challenge and decided to go head to head! So without getting competitive, it'll be good to get a little feedback... and preferably who's the best!!

The entries look good so far!

I have only registered this week and am a new comer when it comes to using adobe photoshop. I have had a go at this weeks Friday challenge, and have had to save it as greyscale and lower the pixels to get it under 100kb, so what you will see is not the full colour version that I wanted to send in, not sure how I could of got the kb lower but keeping the resolution to a viewable standard on screen. :0)

Welcome, love all these newcomers. to get the colour image down,
From Photoshop, In the 'files' menu, select Save for Web & Devices.
Once you see it there, select Image size, usually around 700 - 800 pixels wide. then lower the quality, probably as low as 50%. Play around with it a little, and get the size to just under 100kb, or it will be too big.
Looking forward to seeing you colour version. If you still can't get it down, save it in Photobucket, and past a link here.

Welcome to the forum, Ellen!

Do the following; Hit >> Attechment above the smileys (to the left of your edit window) and then browse for your image. It's as simple as that! Just make sure the file size is below 100kB.
