I live in the country and my home town's tallest building (a church) may be able to penetrate a cloud during a fog. So I just picked a tall building scene for the challenge. Here's mine. Click on the image for a full view.

ok so I'm from Jersey (just jersey.. the original and quaint little island floating between england and france) so there's not much of a skyline here either.. so I opted for a new jersey image... and played with the time of day just to add a little something to the character of the image. Spent the last few days looking for a decent photo of either my own little town or Cork city itself, and had bugger all luck. So I settled on this instead. My job, or part of it in the past, was scanning and touching up thousands of old glass slides for an Irish Heritage association. (Photoshopper's dream job!) Some weeks into it, they had some shots of my town, and this was one of them. This is the infamous Clock Gate in Youghal, county Cork. It was built around 1777, and has a pretty colourful history down through the years; everything from a jail to a gallows to temporary town council office. It looks exactly the same today as it did back then... except they don't hang people out of the windows anymore. Grisly... Anyway, end of history lesson.
