I really didn't have much of a clue how to go about this .. I could only really guess at the shadows cast on those curved surfaces

Sorry first entry for a couple of weeks as I've not been able to get anywhere near the PC for gaming kids.

Hello Daniel! Welcome to the forum. Your English is very good - better than my French!

Thank you Kate. I dream of a translation software as good as Photoshop for the image!

Thank you. I also thought about the shadow of the metal structure. But I decided not to because of my lack of technique.

Bonjour Jeepy !!

(Hello Jeepy! It is a pleasure to find a compatriot! I agree with you about the right shade. I did not already satisfied in photoshop, but the green was even more pronounced when I compressed the image.)

Are you my mummy ?
Inspired by Steve's midnight metamorphosis I had a sudden rush of blood to the head and came up with this.

Cheers !
Up on the big screen I can see the faces are somewhat livid - the originals were very yellow/reddish and I may have gone a little over the top in toning them down, to mix a metaphor
