Josephine. Here is a scene very poetic and very funny!
Despite their strange hairstyles, Venus women seem very nice!

I think it’s the jaw line that keeps this girl around. My valentines a bit camera shy, but she makes a lot of people laugh

Hello Steeve and all other members of this forum;

I started on photoshop and I bought your book for me perfect. So I had the adress of this forum which seemed very intérssant my, including the challenge Friday.

So I start my first Friday challenge with some difficulties:
-if I choose a woman with hair longer how to remove the other?
-and how to reconstruct the shoulder?

I hope that these issues do not irritate you !

thank you in advance!

(I am French so I translate with a translator, sorry if you do not understand !)

Bonjour!
I would (and did !) use the clone tool to cover over the hair on the shoulder with skin from a nearby part
To remove the hair hanging over her face I painted over it on a new layer (taking the colour from her face with the eye dropper) then lightened it where appropriate with the dodge tool to stop it looking flat.
I hope this is some help

hello
I tried:
if I took the color of the face with the eye dropper, but I can select only one color (one pixel)!

And how you made for your images in face less than 100Kb? (picture<100Kb)

Re: Contest 236: Love is in the air
Fantastic matching Nick !

Cl&m&nt, yes, you do only get one pixel's worth of colour but sampling puts you in the right general area for tone and hue - (if it looks really wrong choose another one) and then use the dodge and/or burn to model some highlights and shadows - just keep on fiddling with it until it looks right, its all just practice.

I am not very technical about sizing so I just choose to save it as a medium quality jpeg then if it is too big make the canvas size smaller until it is under 100. I think there is a thread on it in the main index which is probably more helpful
