As Britain and its currency plummets down the large black hole in Alistair’s garden, come and see the characters at the bottom of it all. See the Brown Queen bullying the rest of the cast. Amaze at how Tony, the Cheshire Cat, manages to disappear when things start to go wrong leaving only his smile behind. Watch the Jaberwocky being unleashed on Alistair as ‘The Forces of Hell’.

With a special guest appearance by Lord Pinocchio announcing that all is well……honestly!

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

Sorry - got a bit political this week. Apologies to our foreign members who don’t know what we have been putting up with for the last 13 years.

Excellent Gordon, that did make me laugh. Especially Gordon as the bullying Queen! And I think most of us have got political this week.

I know I've strayed somewhat from the challenge brief, but I so enjoyed assembling this comp using some of my recent colorization subjects that I was compelled to just go with it!

Re: Challenge 291: Potter, Jackson - what next?
Great entries all. I'm laughing loud! Really funny Les and great to see Josephine bags her place.
So I go very much off brief, but ok. Just some Strange strange .... Sorry.

Left: "Jimi" Hendrix (born Johnny Allen Hendrix; November 27, 1942[1] – September 18, 1970) was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is often considered to be the greatest electric guitarist in the history of rock music by other musicians and commentators in the industry. Died in UK too young and not very happy until came to UK.
Upper middle: Sonja Kristina Linwood of Curved Air. Progressive Rock. Still alive. Saw her live twice.
Lower middle: Paul Dirac. Nobel prize in 1933. Quantum theoretical physist. (See and read the book, and/or study). British, father Swiss French, mother English. Died in US. Had a good life, but strange, but arn't we all.
Third right: Janis Lyn Joplin (January 19, 1943 – October 4, 1970) was an American singer, songwriter and music arranger. Died too young and was never very happy. Great blues unique voice.
Right: Keith John Moon (23 August 1946[1] – 7 September 1978 ) was an English drummer of the rock group The Who. He gained acclaim for his exuberant and innovative drumming style and notoriety for his eccentric and often self destructive behavior, earning him the nickname "Moon the Loon." Strange, but I liked him. Died too young.
