					 a rather twee image from me for the 398th challenge. Actually I was thinking an opening that anything could emerge from might be a good starting point for the grand 400th challenge too, maybe involving some feature that wasn't around at the time of the 300th challenge, something like puppet warp or repoussé... maybe a stage where the curtain lifts up to reveal the celebrations... ![]()  |

 I agree Deborah, there are some great ideas and execution. In case anyone is not familiar with it, my last entry refers to a quote in Arthur C. Clarke's '2001: A Space Odyssey'. A great book! The Stanley Kubrick film was also terrific with some truly excellent pre-Photoshop/After Effects/3D special effects which put many 'modern' special effects to shame. The scene where the spaceship docks with the space station is beautiful and was done entirely with large scale models and precision camera tracking all to the sound track of Johann Strauss's 'The Blue Danube'. I'll put my anorak back in the cupboard, now
