Deborah and ben I like what you've done with the roof! After seeing yours I think mine will have to come down and start over! _________________ “Art Is Never Finished, Only Abandoned.” |

Oops, I went too fast, I had not seen the second part of the mill. I had the roof in one piece. Corrected by adding a sky and sheep on the island of Tiree. ![]() |

					Re: Challenge 406: Where there's a Mill
This place is just down the road, bit derelict. (I've spent hours next to it, don't ask why). Bringing it back to life with transplanted waterwheel, but there has been so much rain around here (put some more in ). Had to close the sluice gate for the waterwheel in case over heats and sets fire to flour dust..... BANG!

Nice Trevor, only problem is the health and safety officers might question the proximity of the door to the wheel, plus it may be liable to flooding, my solution is switch off the water and install an electricity supply. _________________ Quote of the day.. Thanks Artwell and agree. You should see the rest of site before I cleared and flooded it, really-really H&S issues.
François, that looks even better now. Very nice of Joey to give feedback I think. I'm sure SC will still have a few comments I like it.
Marki, welcome to the forum. I've not been to Qinhuangdao. Must be cold in winter? A great entry from you. Deborah's work is always consistently good

Variant. I'm a bit worried about H&S after Artwell's comments Well as Captain Smith with my latest avatar I only sunk the Titanic on my watch. ( learnt from our mistakes ). Avatar photo from a Titanic 100yrs tribute party with fancy dress. A friend hosted, she really loves cruising across the Atlantic to New York and back and anywhere else! Of course very sad especially after final stop for Titanic was Cork/Cobh. The poor Lusitania wreck is just off the shore from Cork WWI as are many other wrecks now.
