Re: Challenge 1005: Shut that door
Probably best you stick with that story ...... On a serious note, I am puzzled by the one frame shadow that appears at the end. Is this supposed to be the plane shadow passing overhead? If so we ought to see it approaching. Obviously you would be aware of that, so I wonder if it is something else I am completely missing. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Thanks David you're quite right. I have now corrected the passing plane shadows so as to make it quite realistic: please take a look. |

Well you are having fun here! The new plane shadow has an odd jump just after take off ...... but a huge improvement. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

No explanations here. I am assuming that this iconic late 1967 TV Series reached further than just the UK and will be meaningful to you all. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: Challenge 1005: Shut that door
Something was bothering me about my fourth entry called “YIKES”. It needed something, it took me a while to decide on just what it was: I sped the runway up a little, added some glare to the windscreen, resized the truck a bit, changed the number of frames from 75 to 120 and changed the loop transition from one second to two seconds. I posted it into the original entry so you can easily see the difference… better or worse? It’s your call. |

Re: Challenge 1005: Shut that door
What I like about the second is that the truck appears out of the hazy glare making it more surprising. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: Challenge 1005: Shut that door
Some of the tools in the software are a bit imprecise David, but I was able to get the glare to work reasonably well... to some extent it's just 'trial and error'. |

http://vimeo.com/949395108 I've take a slightly different approach but unsure if converting the vehicle to a water taxi works. Anyway, great and fun entries everyone. _________________ Wicked Witch of the West: I'm melting! I'm melting! |
