Planning a weekend holiday, our duo is headed to the Batcave to pick up the Batboat.

Like David I wanted to use the original image and find a way to use it in it's battered shape.

Battering it even more is a very smart way to do that!

The extraction of a side view from the top view in the picture is also very clever and well done.

So good to see the classic Loyd GIFs appearing again.

Re: Challenge 1109: To the Batmobile!
I just discovered that an American garage actually produced 21 life size replicas of the ’67 Batmobile.

Movie about it here.

Batman decided to repaint the Batmobile. The Joker came along to help as he didn't want to be chased by such a scruffy car.

Sometimes I think it's easier to name the characters who haven't been made into Lego figures than those who have! I like the idea of the half finished car.

Re: Challenge 1109: To the Batmobile!
Batman encounters the wrong villain ......... !"

I shouldn’t really be posting this. Firstly, it’s outright plagiarism from Frank ........ referred to in creative circles as “inspired by”. Secondly it doesn’t follow my self imposed principle that entries should contain at least some element of the challenge image. But, truthfully, I am a bit stuck this week so I have migrated Batman into Bond territory and used a borrowed shiny Batmobile.

“Goldfinger” not only had Honour Blackman, who set my young heart thumping (well that’s the polite way of putting it) but also had great villains. Harold Sakata, an Olympic medallist weight lifter, as Oddjob and the wonderful Gert Frobe, as Auric Goldfinger, who delivered one of the all time best remembered Bond one liners:

Bond strapped down with a laser travelling slowly up between his legs about to sizzle his privates:

“Do you expect me to talk?”

“No Mr. Bond ………… I expect you to die!”.

I can still hear him now over sixty years on ............ !

The idea was better in my mind, if I get time I might try again.

Re: Challenge 1109: To the Batmobile!
The new Batmobile is ready and the original is being put on permanent display atop the Gotham Bat Tower. That, or Robin is going to fly it over the Atlantic and just drop it.
