You reminded me of a technique I forgot. I went back to my Redheaded Pearl Girl and smudged the coarseness out of her hair.

I liked brewell's wave and considered a more-formal Marcel wave myself. But I ended up turning to Mrs. "Becks" (i.e, 'Posh Spice') for inspiration.

Debated whether to get rid of her freckles, but thought they were nice. Have never attempted to do so much close work on someone before.
As ever a great 'Challenge'.
