Thanks all! I can't remember how I made it so 3D - I think it was a combination of blending mode (multiply, iirc) and I applied an inner shadow in layer styles.

BTW, I have to hold my hand up and say that the idea was, once again, my husband's. He's my creative director - I simply put his ideas into practice.

I had the chance to spruce up my entry today so here is the new improved version, together with a revised animation - well you have to have someone to pilot the thing don't you ?
The animation seems to run very slow to start with on photobucket for some reason - also I set it to repeat which also doesn't seem to be happening - oh well

I have no time lately, so this is a 5 minute job and obviously there are oodles of things that aren't right in it. Sorry!
I did something obscure with the dragon.. no idea what.. but I ended up liking the look of it. Weird, yes, but it looks better than my other attempts.
